Situated on Cowbridge High Street, behind the The Quarter Penny Cafe (formerly Farthings) with fabulous views over Cowbridge.
Cowbridge (Welsh: Y Bont-faen) is a market town in the Vale of Glamorgan in Wales, approximately 7 miles (11 km) west of Cardiff.
The town centre is still arranged on its medieval plan, with one long street divided into "burgage plots". It is one of very few medieval walled towns in Wales, and substantial portions of the walls, together with the south gate, are still standing.
The largely medieval church of the Holy Cross, overlooked by the apartment, was initially a chapel of ease to the parish church at Llanblethian.
Well worth a visit and just a short walk from the apartment is Cowbridge Physic Garden i. The 0.5 acres physic garden was created by the Welsh Historic Gardens Trust in 2004 and was opened in June 2008 by Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall who is still it's Patron. Surrounded by high stone walls, parts of which date to the 13th century, the physic garden is situated within a former 18th century formal garden which belonged to the Edmondes family of Old Hall.
